Synopsis: What makes an artist an artist? The residents of The Workshop, a cultish artists’ colony above a dilapidated New York theater, couldn’t care less. They’re more concerned with paying their rent before they lose The Workshop forever. The scramble to save their home isn’t the worst of it, though. Projects grow monstrous and strange, the director in the upstairs bedroom is nearing the edge of sanity, and an ugly breaking point draws nearer and nearer.
